Neura | About
Neura is a Brazilian-French progressive metalcore band formed in Lyon, in 2021 by their founding members Cadu (drums) and Rodrigo (guitar).
After several lineup changes, the band reached their final lineup in 2023 composed of : Nicolas (guitar), Alaia (lead singer), Cyril (bass) replaced by Xavier in 2025.
Cadu brings an inventive drumming style to the songs, coming from his years of experience in Brazil, while Rodrigo's classical background blends with modern metal techniques.
Nicolas adds precise riffs and dynamic textures, drawing inspiration from nu metal to modern death metal.
Alaia's multilingual vocals and lyrics explore themes such as trauma, loss, and resilience, transcribing everything with emotion and intensity.
During his time with the band, former bassist Cyril brought a progressive metal influence that helped shape Neura's initial sound.
Today, Xavier continues this evolution with his groove and his energy, strenghtening bass lines while giving depth to our songs.
